Sri Mahalakshmi Golden Temple at Vellore, Tamilnadu is very wide in area (around 300 acres). In the temple premises, you can find restaurent, huge car parking, rooms for stay and shops. Everything (either temple, restaurent, rooms, garden, etc) is cleanly maintained.
Good for week end trip (either one or two days). It is advised to see both in day time and evening time with lights. It is around 220 km from Bangalore towards Hosur, Krishnagiri road. Need to go till Vellore and them 8 km inside towards Sripuram when the temple exists. The road is very nice as complete travel in NH7 and NH46. Nice drive with nice views. It will take about 4 hours to reach with 80-100 kmph.
